Expanding Production Capacity with Robotic Overmoulding at Dasyc

Dasyc has significantly enhanced its production capabilities through the adoption of cutting-edge robotic overmoulding technology. By integrating two injection moulding machines with a six-axis FANUC robot, we are able to produce complex E-meter top covers that combine two distinct materials—clear and opal—with a ferrous washer in one seamless process. This automated system ensures precise and high-quality results with exceptional repeatability, a critical factor for maintaining consistent product excellence.

One of the primary advantages of this technology is its cost-effectiveness compared to traditional 2K tooling methods. Robotic automation not only reduces production costs but also improves efficiency, offering a more economical solution to our customers without sacrificing quality. Additionally, this approach enables faster production cycles, reduces material waste, and supports more sustainable manufacturing practices.

At present, Dasyc is managing four different projects using this advanced overmoulding technique at our facilities. The flexibility and precision of robotic systems allow us to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring top-tier performance across all operations. This innovative approach places Dasyc at the forefront of modern manufacturing, delivering scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. By continuously embracing new technologies, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of injection moulding and providing high-performance products that drive industry innovation.
